Must buy for Numismatic hobby. Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon. This looks like a great book for beginners. It covers a lot of history and basic theory. I highly recommend it.

Got it for our grandson and he was thrilled with. Lots of information to read and discover. This guide is a must for beginning hobbyist to get an overview of why coins are exciting to collect. It belongs in every public library and is a must gift for the new, young, or more advanced collector. I got his for my grandson. It is really a nice way to begin to learn about coins. My brother, which is a long time coin collector said he would like to have one.

Please try again later. Use the money for something more substantive. It's little more than a pamphlet. It does have some knowledge for getting kids envolved. I liked the simple approach in presenting information. Being new to coins, I wanted some basic information before deciding if I wanted to get involved. This is geared to beginners and I liked it. Not as comprehensive as I thought it would be. Does not reflect the information on some of the coins that I am looking to add in the near future. One person found this helpful. This is a very good book on the basics of coin collecting. I was looking for a little bit more, but was satisfied with what I got.

I could not get it to work on my Kiwndle. Was charged 5 times. Glad that I bought it Good to have as reference but needs some pictures! Good beginners guide to what coin collecting is and few good places to go for better knowledge. Very little hard facts. See all 8 reviews.
